We hope to have a more complete release by Q3 of 2026, but this is ultimately a passion project with a small team behind it, so exact timing is difficult.

We plan to implement significant improvements to the graphics, menus, and particularly the gameplay systems of Desolate Frontiers. We hope that it can be a living, live service game, which is constantly evolving and expanding.

This Beta, Early Access version of Desolate Frontiers represents the bare minimum of what we think the gameplay experience should be, with the bones to build an even better game atop it.

That bare minimum "MVP" consists of the basic gameplay loop of managing your convoys, delivering cargo, and upgrading your vehicles, with primitive, placeholder graphics.

Desolate Frontiers Plus will be discounted for the duration of the Beta, Early Access period, after which it will be at a slightly higher price which we think can sustain the game and us developers.
