What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We chose Early Access to continue development under good conditions and to start building a community around the project right away. Early Access also allows us to put the game in the hands of real players, observe how they interact with its mechanics, and adjust certain aspects before adding more content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6 to 12 months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to add several additional levels, a more substantial narrative storyline, as well as an endless mode.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of the game includes:
- The core systems of Scission, such as combat, movement, and narrative systems, are fully implemented.
- The artistic direction and the game’s final atmosphere have been established.
- Three playable levels: a tutorial, Level 1, and a final boss fight.
- Six different enemy types, each featuring complete and functional behaviors and logic.
- A story conveyed through dialogue and environmental storytelling.
- A gameplay experience representative of the final product, lasting approximately 45 minutes to 1.5 hours.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price may increase after Early Access.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want to involve the community in a simple and transparent way. The Steam forums will be the main place to gather feedback, suggestions, and bug reports. Even though the development pace will remain measured, player feedback will have a real impact on gameplay adjustments, balancing, and certain content decisions. The goal is to gradually evolve the game by taking the most relevant feedback into account, all the way to the final release.”

About This Game

Sometimes, there are souls that fall to the bottom of the waters.

They sink so deep that even the sun can’t reach them.

In this hostile environment, the souls form a shell to survive.

A whole in two parts that thickens with time.

But the soul, thinking it is still free, tries to fight back.

Eventually, it lets them win and accepts the salvation of being offered protection.

The shell is resistant, resilient, but some say that a fracture can happen.

They whisper these words to each other:

"With a bang, the shell will become two.

They will tear at each other for the soul and will seek its control.

Opposed to one another, even if deep down, they need her as much as she needs them."

Control two characters at once

Master this unique mechanic to overcome the challenges thrown at you. Move independently with each hand and position in the optimal way to hit your enemies.

Meet Egyde and Kleos

Egyde and Kleos are two sides of the same coin. Join them as they embark on a journey to reach "the surface" and find their purpose. Will they return to the status quo or become something new?
