*Scrap extraction involves the firing of custom built weapons to remove potentially useful scrap from hostile creatures and robots.

After visiting the R.A.T, the S.A.W.D, and gathering some amount of friends (optional) you will find yourself needing to interact with the M.A.P (Mission Access Panel). to plan an excursion into a new zone to gather scrap and research data for the development of the colony.
