« Whispers of the Crypt is a passion project built by a small developer, and Early Access lets me release the game while continuing to expand it with community feedback. The core gameplay, atmosphere, and world are already in place, but there are more areas, bosses, systems, and refinements I want to add. Early Access gives players a chance to experience the game early while helping shape its final direction. »

« We plan to expand Whispers of the Crypt with additional areas, deeper crypt levels, new enemies, and more boss encounters. The full version is intended to include more story content, expanded lore, improved forging systems, new items, and additional abilities for the player. We also plan to add more environmental variety, polish gameplay systems, improve performance, and refine combat and exploration based on community feedback.

Our goal is to grow the world, add more content, and improve the overall experience throughout Early Access. »

« The Early Access version includes the core RPG systems needed for a full playthrough of the early portion of the game. This includes real-time combat, the first major story arc, multiple side quests, functioning NPC AI, exploration, loot, and character progression.

The foundation is fully playable, but still in active development. Some systems—such as advanced AI behaviors, additional story chapters, more quests, expanded regions, and overall polish—are still being improved throughout Early Access. Players should expect updates that add new content, refine combat, improve stability, and expand the world as development continues. »

« No, the game will be priced the same during Early Access and after the full release. »

About This Game

This is a first-person action RPG where you explore dangerous environments, battle deadly creatures, complete quests, and build your character through looting and forging.
You’ll fight through dark dungeons, ruined halls, and underground zones using melee weapons, spells, or tools you craft yourself. Enemies react to hits with blood effects, making combat feel weighty and impactful.

As you progress, you’ll pick up quests that lead you to new areas, hidden rooms, and tough boss encounters. Every region is packed with loot — weapons, armor, materials, rare items, and powerful relics that change the way you fight. Your gear can be upgraded or forged into stronger versions, letting you adapt to tougher challenges and customize your build.

Boss fights are a major focus: each one demands skill, timing, and preparation. Learning their patterns and finding the right equipment is key to surviving. Between battles, you’ll gather resources, unlock new crafting options, and discover better equipment to push into deeper, more dangerous zones.
