What is friendship? Well, according to Wikipedia, friendship is a relationship of mutual affection between people. It is a stronger form of interpersonal bond than an "acquaintance" or an "association", such as a classmate, neighbour, coworker, or colleague. The understanding of friendship by children tends to be focused on areas such as common activities, physical proximity, and shared expectations. Such friendships provide opportunity for playing and practicing self-regulation.

Hi, my name is Caleb and I have such a friend. Her name is Jessica. We have been friends since nursery school. But something happened. Something unexpected. You see we were on a camping trip and that is where we are going to start our story.
