Why Early Access?

“RoleMIAster is an experimental project that bridges two complex worlds: tabletop role-playing and generative artificial intelligence. As a solo developer, I need community feedback to balance the rules, refine the integration with different AI models, and ensure the experience is enjoyable and stable before considering it a finished product. I want to build this game with the players, not just for them.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I estimate the Early Access period will last between 6 and 12 months. This time will allow me to implement missing features, refine the user interface, and ensure compatibility with new AI models as they emerge.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version aims to be more robust, with more content and better tools. My plans include:
- Multiplayer implementation (planned)
- Official support for more AI providers and local models.
- Expansion of rule compendiums and items for both worlds (Fantasy and Cyberpunk).
- Improvements in image and audio generation, even incorporating video if technology allows it in a safe way.
- A deeper 'Codex' system to remember details from long campaigns.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable from start to finish.
- Character Creation: Functional and AI-assisted.
- Two Settings: Medieval Fantasy and Cyberpunk, both with their specific rules (magic and implants).
- Game System: Dice rolling engine, tactical combat, inventory, and status management implemented.
- Narrative: Infinite adventures generated dynamically.
- Multimedia: AI-assisted multimedia assignment.

There may be undiscovered bugs in the internal engine and the interface is still being polished, but the core experience is complete.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. I plan to gradually increase the price as I add new content and features. Buying now is a way to support development and get the game at a reduced price.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will use Steam forums and Discord to gather direct feedback. I'm especially interested in learning:
1. Which AI models work best for players.
2. Which RPG rules need adjustments or balancing.
3. Which new features are most in demand.

I will publish regular development blog updates and maintain an open communication channel with players.”

Hello adventurer! 🧙‍♂️

I’m excited to share a glimpse of what’s coming next in RoleMIAster 🎲. I’m actively working on several key improvements and new features to make your experience even more immersive:

  • Multiplayer Mode 🌐 – My goal is to enable PvP ⚔️, cooperative play 🤝, and even a free-world experience 🌍. This is a major task that requires almost a complete restructuring of the game engine 🛠️, so it’s a significant challenge, but I hope to make it possible for players to explore and interact together in many ways.

  • Interface Enhancements 🖥️ – A more intuitive and visually appealing UI.

  • AI Response Optimization 🤖 – Faster, smarter, and more consistent AI interactions.

  • Game Engine Upgrades ⚙️ – Recurrent or “trivial” mechanics will now be handled by the engine itself, reducing the load on AI and making gameplay smoother and more creative.

I’m not a big corporation. I don’t have hundreds of employees.
I’m a self-taught programmer and a long-time RPG lover who spent countless hours (and many sleepless nights), assisted by AI tools, to bring this project to life.
