# RoleMIAster - Terms and Conditions of Use

### 1. ⚠️ ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ENGINE
**RoleMIAster runs with integrated Local AI.**
- **Zero-configuration experience:** Immediate experience: The game includes a local language model that works offline, without external accounts and without additional configuration.
- **Advanced options (fully optional):** RoleMIAster allows integrating external AI services only if the player wishes. These integrations are not necessary to play and are not part of the core game functionality.
- **Privacy:** The local model processes all content on your device. No data is sent to external servers unless you explicitly configure a cloud provider.
### 2. Early Access Status
The software is in active development. The User accepts that:
- You may encounter errors (`bugs`), unexpected crashes, or changes in game mechanics.
- Saved games may not be compatible with future major versions.
- The software is provided "as is", without guarantees of perfect operation.
### 3. Disclaimer of Liability for Generated Content
RoleMIAster acts as an intermediary between the User and the AI model. The developer **IS NOT RESPONSIBLE** for:
- **Inappropriate Content:** The AI may generate violent, offensive, or sexually suggestive text or images, even with safety filters enabled.
- **Hallucinations:** The AI may invent data or be incoherent. This is a current technological limitation, not a game error.
- **Copyright:** All multimedia content in the game (images, videos, portraits, music, sounds, etc.) is generated by AI, with the exception of logos and trademarked images.
- **Internal and External Models:** The game includes an integrated local AI model that works offline, without external accounts and without additional configuration, and has security mechanisms that prevent the generation of explicit sexual content and extreme violence. If the User chooses to manually configure an external AI model (cloud services, Ollama, LM Studio, or others), the User is **solely responsible** for the model selection and all content generated by that model.
### 4. Age Confirmation
Due to the unpredictable nature of AI-generated content and despite the implemented safety measures, it cannot be guaranteed that all generated content will be appropriate for all ages. Therefore, the User confirms that they are of the **legal age required** in their jurisdiction to consume content that could be classified for adults.
### 5. Third Party Software & Licenses
This software uses open source components and AI models under various licenses:
- **Graphic Libraries (PySide6/Qt, Pygame):** Used under LGPL license. The user has the right to modify/replace these dynamic libraries within the terms of the LGPL.
- **AI Models (Qwen 2.5):** Used under Apache 2.0 license.
- **AI Inference (llama-cpp-python):** Used under MIT license.
- **Other Components:** See the `THIRDPARTY_LICENSES.md` file included in the installation folder for the full list and legal texts.
