About This Demo

Card Cricket Quest is a cricket-themed roguelite deckbuilder about matching cards, smashing runs and blasting tons in your quest for sporting glory. Ignore boring responsibilities like setting field positions, managing bowling line ups, or waiting for the pitch to dry out -- this is a curated cricket experience about YOUR solo batting heroics, and becoming a batting legend, one run at a time.

IT'S CRICKET, BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Each over, 12 cards are dealt from your batter's deck and 12 cards are dealt from the bowler’s deck. Match identical cards to score that number of runs, while avoiding HOWZAT cards that diminish your confidence and end your innings. Curate and build a deck that can withstand whatever bowling and de-buffs the opposition can throw at you.

WHAT'S IN THIS DEMO?

We're excited to show you our biggest demo yet!

• QUEST MODE: Play through the entire first season (act 1 of 3) of the game, against a range of different challenge types. Randomised challenges and teams each time you play.

• SCORE ATTACK MODE: Bat for 20 overs and smash as many runs as you can. Earn $10 for every run, unlock trinkets and power-ups and go for that career defining score.

• NEW TRINKETS: There are now 55 trinkets in the game of common, quality and rare varieties. Try different combinations to create synergies that help you smash the traditional cricket scoring system.

• WILLOWS: There are two willows to unlock in this demo. Willows are bats that grant perks and offer you a different deck of cards to play with. (There will be 12 Willows in the final game).

• ELITE BOWLERS: These vicious bowlers show up in Score Attack mode and have elite powers that disrupt your batting abilities. Face down against Express bowlers, Intimidators, Tricksters, Neutralisers and more!

• LEADERBOARDS: Visit the Hall of Fame to see how your best innings hold up against other players -- most runs, most 100s, highest score and fastest 100.

• STORY EVENTS: Play these story encounters that can give you that extra boost, or drag you down on your journey.

• POWER-UP CARD VFX: We've finally added some VFX to the Power-Up cards to give them that extra oomph

  Note: Character customisation is limited to male cricketers and a small number of teams in this demo. Players will be able to play as women cricketers in the full game and have some additional customisation options.
