Vincent Moreau, an American cop of French descent, thought he had seen it all in his career. But when a series of unexplained disappearances shakes the city, his instincts scream that something is amiss. Yet, his superior orders him to drop the case, an order that sounds more like a warning than a directive. Far too stubborn to obey, Vincent decides to investigate alone. One night, he returns to the scene of the latest crime… and realizes too late that he should have listened. His elevator is sabotaged, and the trap closes around him.
