The Repeating Knot is a psychological survival horror set in a small Polish town — a love letter to fans of classic horror games such as Silent Hill and Resident Evil. Explore a world torn between reality and nightmare, uncover the secrets of the past, and fight for survival in a place where dreams and waking life become indistinguishable.

You play as Tomo, a lonely, aging fast-food worker who dreams of becoming a successful vlogger and streamer. Desperate to escape the monotony of his everyday life and his growing sense of failure, he continuously chases online recognition but never seems to achieve it. As the line between reality and nightmare begins to blur, Tomo is forced to confront his fears, memories, and the mistakes he has spent years trying to ignore.

The story takes place in Wodzisław Śląski, a town inspired by real-world locations. Abandoned streets, faded apartment blocks, dense fog, and ever-present dampness create the atmosphere of a place suspended somewhere between memory and oblivion.

Inspired by the classic horror games of the PlayStation 2 era, The Repeating Knot focuses on tension, exploration, and psychological dread. A dynamic camera system combines cinematic angles with player-tracking perspectives, creating a constant sense of unease as you uncover the truth hidden beneath the town's decaying surface.
