It’s been two years since the bombs fell. A dark night interrupted by flashes of blinding white light, but no shockwave, nor fireball. Silence, then ash starting to fall from the sky, spreading out all over the city carried by the wind.

Your food supplies are nearly over.

After sheltering for so long, when the weather started to clear you began to explore the rooftops of the nearby apartment blocks. The city remains silent, and each day is getting colder and darker as everything slowly dies. The world is bleak and food is the only scarce resource. It’s time to leave this place.

You’ve made radio contact with a single survivor.

Hiding behind thick walls, same as you, he's hunkering down in a tower near the train station. You have a plan to escape to a secret place of refuge, by train, but first you have to gather enough supplies - food, for two people - for a 40 days journey.
