Why Early Access?

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“"The full version is planned to feature a significantly expanded world, introducing new factions including Aliens, Demons, and the Moss People. We aim to deepen the core gameplay with a dynamic town economy, allowing players to grow their bread empire through complex trade systems.
In addition to a complete Story Mode, we plan to implement social stealth and ritual systems. These will allow players to embrace unique character archetypes to summon powerful entities and challenge massive world bosses, such as the Demon Lord and the Mega Moss. Future updates may also include Co-op support and community-requested quality-of-life improvements."”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is a very early prototype build that allows you to engage in a basic crafting system that has many bugs, a menu system. which is very unstable and a interact with a shop that unlocks progression across a bridge to get to the very end. ”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We want to reward our early supporters who join us during the technical prototype and alpha stages. As we add significant new content—including the Story Mode, the Bread Empire economy, and new factions like the Demon Lord and Aliens—the price will gradually increase to reflect the expanded scope and polish of the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community is at the heart of our 'Bread Empire.' We will be actively monitoring the Steam Discussion Forums and Reviews to gather feedback on mechanics, balance, and bugs.
We believe in a collaborative development process; if the community shows a strong collective interest in specific features—whether it's a new alien faction, specialized bread types, or expanded social systems—we will prioritize those in our roadmap. Your feedback will directly shape the evolution of the world, from the smallest wheat grain to the Expansive Battles With Other Worldly Creatures.”
