What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Believr Pro Wrestling is a complex sandbox designed for creative players who love storytelling, simulation, and chaos. Early Access allows us to refine its booking systems, balancing, and creative tools with real community feedback. Wrestling fans know what makes a great show, so we’re giving them a front-row seat to help shape the future of BPW.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“BPW will likely remain in Early Access for roughly 9 months as we refine gameplay systems, add additional content, and respond to community feedback. This timeframe may adjust based on development needs.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already lets you book shows, write promos, run angles and build your own promotion. Over time, we expect BPW to evolve as we gather feedback and see what players actually use and enjoy.

Areas we’re considering expanding include, for example:
– Even smarter AI promotions and a richer global wrestling landscape
– More detailed feud / storyline / segment logic
– Extra Showrunner presentation options and commentary pacing tweaks
– Additional creative tools for titles, events, stables and media networks
– Deeper database editing and mod support
– More simulation depth for fan reactions, injuries and match psychology

These are goals, not guarantees. Scope and priorities may change based on time, resources and what the community values most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully playable and stable, featuring:

Complete booking and show simulation with the Match Flow system

Working Showrunner mode with live text commentary and crowd heat simulation

Functioning database editor for promotions, wrestlers, and regions

Core financial and reputation systems

Save/load and multi-database support

The foundations are solid, but balancing, presentation, and long-term depth will evolve through updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will start lower during Early Access and gradually increase as new features, modes, and polish are added. Early adopters will get the best value for supporting development early.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is central to BPW. Players will help shape the direction through:

Steam discussions and in-game feedback tools

Regular development updates and feature polls

Testing new systems like the Match Flow engine and Showrunner mode

Sharing custom databases, rosters, and worlds to showcase the game’s potential

Believr Pro Wrestling is being built by fans, for fans — and every booking decision counts.”
