Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« We’re a small team crafting this game in our spare time. While we pour our hearts and dedication into this project, we understand that our scope and pace is limited. With Early Access, we want players to be able to experience the solid core of Procelio we have built, and be able to provide feedback and engage with us as we continue to refine the game to make it the best it can be. We do not view Early Access as an excuse to make a poor game, but rather a venue to help us learn and build more on top of a solid foundation. »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« Procelio will be in Early Access for the end of 2026 and likely some time beyond. We hope to utilize our time in Early Access to better refine and expand upon game content until we believe that the state of Procelio has aligned with our ideal 1.0 state. We're hoping to achieve this state within around 18 months of launching into Steam Early Access. »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We plan for Procelio to contain a fully realized core gamemode, with additional gamemodes and private games on the table. We also plan to expand the games content base with additional weapon and movement parts, offensive and defensive modules, weapon variants, and continued refinement of the core gameplay systems. We want to keep the scope of the game focused on the core gamemode and gameplay loop at first, but are open to potential expansion in the future. »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« Procelio is currently in a fully-playable state, with user account support and online multiplayer ready to go. You can hop in right now and unlock parts, create and share builds, and fight against both computer-controlled and real opponents online in a basic territory control gamemode. Friends and social systems are also in place, allowing you to easily share your favorite builds with your friends and team up to play together. »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« We’re committed to keeping Procelio free-to-play for all, and don’t have any plans to charge for new additions to the base game. You will be able to support us through the purchase of supporter packs, cosmetic packs, soundtracks, and in-game cosmetics once we believe the game is worthy of monetization. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« No developer is a master at their own game, and we understand that for a fact. We’re dedicated to listening to feedback from our community regarding game balance, quality of life features, and other tweaks that can help make Procelio the best it can be. We’ve been using Discord to interact with our community directly during our alpha phases, and will continue to do so going forward. Early Access gives us an opportunity to broaden our horizons and bring in new players to see where and how we can improve our game, while keeping it within our development scope. »

Procelio is a modular vehicle builder/shooter inspired by classics of the genre, where every component brings new functions to your robot and any system can break when under fire. Construct combat vehicles ranging from cars, tanks and hovercraft to planes, blimps, and drones- all from the comfort of your orbital home. Load your designs with your choice of ordnance, and fight for dominance in a proxy war over the dunes of Mars. Fight alone or with your coworkers in a multiplayer battle arena fit for chaos.

As a valued employee of Osprey Modular Hardware and Robotics, an arsenal of potential is yours to command. Prove your worth to the company, and you’ll unlock permanent part requisitions to expand your building toolkit. Through a tight loop of building and combat, you’ll learn the best practices of engineering for war. With each deployment, your arsenal expands and your designs can be refined.

While your potential has no limits, your power budget does. Limited AMP space means choices have to be made, and no one machine can truly have it all. Balance your offensive, defensive, support, and mobility capabilities to craft a war machine tailored to your specific play style and needs. 

FIGHT YOUR WAY

There’s more than one way to fight a proxy war. 

  • Brawl your way through the front lines to secure valuable ground and collect the materials necessary for victory. 

  • Go on the defensive, and protect allies and their collected resources directly and indirectly.

  • Embrace the power of logistics, repair and restock allies to keep them in the fight for longer.

  • Take to the skies to provide close-air-support for your allies, or high-altitude aerial bombardment against enemy forces.

  • Sneak your way around to flank and surround enemies, or take out priority targets from afar with long-range firepower.

With an endless combination of weapon systems, movement types, components and modules, you choose your approach to combat amidst a shifting battlefield. If one strategy isn’t working, you can choose another robot from your drop deck and redeploy with a new plan. 

THE FUTURE IS COSTLY

The year is 2152: man has entered a new era. Earth still turns, but the red planet burns. In the first bid of public interplanetary expansion, Hypox Mining Company was granted unrestricted rights to mine, process, and commercially exploit several sectors of Mars. When they arrived to commence operations however, they found the AEGIS colonies which had worked to open Mars to interplanetary traffic in the first place. With the colonies having claimed the same land for their own future plans, confusion and hostilities between the two groups boiled over into violence and sabotage. Enter Osprey Modular Hardware, a monumental research and hardware conglomerate with just the modular warfare package needed to fight a proxy war in a harsh environment, far from the logistics lines of Earth. The ensuing war will be long and hard-fought, but to the victor go the spoils of Mars. 

And to Osprey, of course, the profits.
