About This Content

[DISCLAIMER]: You'll need a Discord account and to join the Ardron Universe server to play... duh.

Daemon Protocol is a battling system, set forth in... Discord actually.
You know how people tell you not to make an MMO? I did it anyways...technically.

Discord hosts it. In short. It's a turn based battling RPG, using reactions.

It is very party synergistic, every person playing helps those in battle by empowering the mainframe.
Think of like Dragon Ball Z. Everyone not fighting Buu is giving Goku their energy for a spirit bomb.

Destroying bosses in Daemon Protocol grants you coin codes to use the main game.
Join in the camaraderie, sacrifice your mana... and everyone benefits from it.

But basically

It's a mini realm which lives inside the robots of Vidulyn(the gray realm)

Think of Icolass as "the internet" as you know it. As that is sort of what it is.

It's connected through every living robot...even though they're unaware of it.

The citizens of Icolass are... sort of stuck in a loop. They are constantly preparing for the war... even though it is already over.

so... That brings us to:

What exactly is "The gameplay".
Well first off: you just lost the game. Not sorry.

Second off. The majority of the game is held in the chat "the terminal".
Simply communicating with your fellow icolassians and preparing for the next training session.

While chatting you recover Hit Points and Mana to help you in these battles.

[The Battles]

The battles are simple turn based RPG fare.

Its your turn. You choose an action. Depending on some RNG it may or may not happen.

then its the next persons turn. Simple right?

Sadly due to Discord limits... i can't have the game send reactions that you then add too. You'll have to add the reactions yourself

Wait what... Discord?

Surprise. This is a Discord Game!

aaaand everyone just X'ed out.

...

anyways. Yes. I made a bot which hosts an entire game... Ran on Discord.

This isn't your typical pokebot where it randomly shows up and you catch it and then you FO for 3 hours. Nah

This is a whole RPG combat/community MMO type system....thing.

Obviously you'll need a Discord account, and to join our Discord server to play it.

Why the hell would you want to do that?

Well... It's about community. You can buff the other players with your mana...chatting heals peoples hitpoints more.

aaaaaand after X amount of battles are won? Everyone gets a coin code to use in the actual game.

Bosses will be similar to Raids in MMO's... lots of people. difficulty, buuuuut the payout is massive.

If the screenshots didn't give you an idea, there is multiple classes.

Each class has its own type of attack. 3 damage types, a battle ability, and a mainframe ability.

Take the Injector for instance (my favorite class)

It puts a curse on a target, and makes them bleed... forever. and stacks. so X amount of damage per turn.. then X(2) amount of damage per turn.... and its not a single instance. Other Injectors can ALSO make the same target bleed.

it can parry, and it has exploding dice. It's squishy as hell though. It rarely gets hit, but if it does? its like 50% of its HP is gone instantly.  Fun class.

As for helping everyone else? It lowers the cost of shop items....about that.

The mainframe is the heart of the system. All classes can empower the mainframe with their mainframe ability.... So

an injector spends 1 mana? cool. prices of things are down 5%... not much, but when you have a server full of injectors it quickly reaches its max of 50% off.

Think thats about it. so...

I realize the premise of a "Discord Game" isn't exactly a hot commodity.
Some of you are perm banned. some of you hate Discord. I get it.

but for those of you interested, but also worried about me(or a diff moderator) being a shitty Discord mod:
No one can be banned from the server.

The bot will simply give you a permission to restrict all your chatting privileges... but you can still 100% play the game.

Weird I know, but I didn't want to ban people from playing a game. Unless they're an obvious shithead who is trying to get banned.

So don't worry, you can still be daddies Discord Kitten, and play the game all you want

ok bye, i'ma go vomit from typing that. Hope to see ya in there.
