Us or Them is a 26-player asymmetrical horror game where players are part of a mysterious organization that sends Explorers on expeditions into the unknown. Explorer players must search for treasures, relics, artifacts, anything of value throughout the location and get them back to the ship, get out and get paid. However, as time goes on so too does the sun go down, and while most players start the round as an Explorer, 1 player begins as a brutal Monster, when an Explorer meets their end in these cursed lands, they return as a Lesser Monster, people are your greatest resource out there so watch each others backs.

WORK TOGETHER OR FALL APART

Explorers must rely on each other to dig up and obtain valuables and rare goods, push deeper into the forest, light the way with lanterns, and haul their findings back to safety. Cooperation is essential but fear and panic can tear teams apart.

BECOME THE MONSTER

Terrorize your friends as a ruthless monster, use speed, ambush tactics and relentless pressure to break the expedition’s morale.
Every Explorer you kill returns as a Lesser Monster, creating a chain reaction that turns friend to foe the more careless they are and the more cunning you play the odds.

BURNING DAYLIGHT

Day and night cycle shifts the atmosphere of every expedition, pressuring the Explorers to get their hands on the goods before dark. Nightfall doesn’t make the Monsters stronger, but it makes the world far more dangerous for Explorers trying to search for loot. Use lanterns and team work to travel safer through the night, better yet move with haste and get the job done while the suns up.

SURVIVE THE EXPEDITION

Monsters may observe from afar, ambush stragglers, and overwhelm isolated players. Enough Explorers die in the woods alone, and the more Monsters will be frantically running through the woods in search of prey. Every expedition rewards experience, but only making it out alive fills your pockets.

SOCIAL HUB

Take advantage of the social hub, interact with the different guild representatives. take on quests, and exchange loot for currencies used for cosmetic and character upgrades. Form parties, and head out on expeditions into the unknown!
