Will you save them, or sell them to pay off your debts? MERMAIDS ARE SEAFOOD is a psychological horror game with a branching story. Your choices matter.

Hundreds of wealthy clients are desperate to eat mermaids, and you really need the money to pay off your debts to the loan sharks. Will you save the mermaids from becoming seafood, or sell them for huge profits? It's not like they're totally angelic victims, either. These sea creatures would eat humans if they could, too. Do you think they're more like fish, people, or monsters? The game's dystopian world will react to your choices, with 10+ endings and branching stories.

To avoid being laid off from your mermaid-hunting job, you have to get ahead in creative ways. Gamble your blood and manipulate your luck by buying cheat items and insider info. Watch your profits grow as you collect incremental upgrades. But of course, your co-workers are eyeing the same mermaids as you are. Will you sabotage their work, or collude with them? 

Investigate the suspected mermaids and win the bounty on the mermaid's head... or plant false evidence and cannibalise a human that has wronged the Corporation.

Play as Miya, a new member of the mermaid-sourcing team. Meet a wide range of characters who all have their own motivations and goals. You know, there's a rumour that some of them might even be mermaids who can disguise themselves as humans. Can you figure out who to trust?
