After a devastating war, the world has fundamentally changed. Flora and fauna have mutated and reclaimed cities while human technology and culture have not moved on from the 1980s. Piece together the story of how the world changed and determine your role in building its future.

Use Sprout’s unique powers to take and bestow life essence from nature to shape the world around you. Will you decide to absorb an innocent deer to heal yourself, or use its essence to cleanse the small stream ahead? The choice may be difficult, but it is yours to make.

The world of Verdant may look beautiful, but many dangers lurk within its lush greenery. As you journey through the lands, you’ll need to gather resources, craft and upgrade your gear and think fast if you want to survive.

As an inexperienced fighter with limited firepower, you’ll need to rely on your wits to avoid and outsmart enemies. Staying hydrated, well-fed and rested is just as important to your survival; the rumbling of a hungry stomach can alert nearby animals and lack of sleep can lead your mind to play tricks on you.
