Finding lost journals is one of the main ways to progress on your quest of discovering the island's past. They are left behind by the island's old inhabitants and they contain a lot of useful information. Journals tell the game's lore and more importantly, may guide you to hidden locations and secrets.

Treasures and secret items can be found in every corner of the island. They grant you special abilities and aid you along the way.
