The HTR .338 is a heavy rifle built for serious big game.

It fires both .338 Soft Point and .338 Polymer Tip ammunition – the same powerful .338 rounds used by the AWM platform in the main game.

Normally, high-caliber rifles like this are something you only get much later in the game. With this pack, you start with .338 stopping power instead of grinding your way up to it.

How it works in-game

• You can claim the HTR .338 at any time once this DLC is owned.

• The rifle loads 3 rounds in the magazine + 1 in the chamber (4 total).

• The weapon is treated as unique gear: you can only hold one HTR .338 in your inventory at a time.

• If you lose or sell it, you can pull it again from the DLC stash – it’s never gone.

• The in-game currency cost of this DLC weapon is 0. You don’t have to farm money to buy it once you own the DLC

• The HTR .338 offers stopping power on the same level as the main-game .338 AWM, and it supports the same scope types.

• This pack is meant for hunters who want to be ready for high-tier, heavily armored animals without spending hours climbing the normal weapon ladder.

PROJECT HUNT is a realistic hunting game. Players use high-caliber rifles to track and shoot large wild animals such as buffalo, hippos, and rhinos. When an animal is shot, there is visible blood at the point of impact and the animal will collapse and remain on the ground as a body that the player can harvest for a trophy.

There is no dismemberment, no gore, no torture, and no violence against human characters.
There is no sexual content, no nudity, no drug or alcohol abuse, and no self-harm content.

The HTR .338 Big Game Access Pack specifically gives access to a powerful .338 rifle that allows the player to hunt high-tier, heavily armored animals. This results in frequent lethal shots on large animals and frequent on-screen animal deaths.
