얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“We expect to remain in Early Access for 12–18 months. This gives us time to work closely with YOU to shape the game together. It lets us expand with new biomes, more Väsen and deep core gameplay systems together”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“We are planning that our emergent systems will be more evolved with fun and unexpected gameplay. We see a future where the game content will also increase in a modular way over time with more Väsen, more biomes, and deeper crafting. We want to set priorities for both emergent systems and content together with the community.
The shadows are already gathering beyond the horizon, and by the time of the full 1.0 release, they will be upon us…”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“The core systems in the game are already fun. The need to survive pushes you out into the first procedurally grown Dark Forest - the home of Väsen. You can make meaningful connections with each Väsen you encounter - and they will react to how you treat them, good or bad.

We treat the Dark Forest as our main character. Exploring the forest, with friends in co-op or alone, will reveal surprises, unveil stunning locations and beautiful vistas. You can climb to the top of every single tree, pick every fir needle you reach, and of course build your home high above the ground.

As survival pressures mount, you must craft and build to survive. Our goal is to have the most compelling building system in the genre. It is currently on its first step there with a “framing and cladding system” that invites creative builds. More steps will follow throughout the Early Access period.

In short, the game currently has:
Core survival systems
A mystical Dark Forest world with a small subset of biomes
Several Väsen, each with their own identity
Crafting and cooking in several tiers

“Yes. Trollheim is a vast and deep original fantasy world coming to life across art and entertainment, designed to grow over time.

We are a small but focused team bringing this original world to life. Early Access into The Dark Forest represents the first step into an expanding mystery and adventure. For the first phase of Early Access, the game will launch with a special introductory price. This gives you access to the game as it evolves throughout Early Access, as well as the full 1.0 release once it is ready.

During Early Access, we plan to:
- Develop the core game together with our players, adding new content, features, and lore as Trollheim moves toward a polished 1.0 release.
- Introduce optional content outside the main game that allows players to personalize their adventures and play with friends.

By supporting Trollheim early, you help us continue expanding the mysteries of the world and growing the Dark Forest at a sustainable pace for the team, while benefiting from the lower introductory pricing as the game evolves.

With each major discovery, the world expands—and the cost of entry for new adventurers will gradually rise to reflect the growing depth of Trollheim. Those who join us early carry their access forward into the full release & will not be charged for the additional content that is added or have price increases to the base product affect them in anyway.”

“We will keep an ongoing dialogue with our players, inviting all who wish to participate. We are all fans of the Dark Forest as well as players of the genre and we want to develop a game for the community. All developers, regardless of their role on the team, will be active on Steam forums and Discord to connect with you - as fellow players and fans of the genre. We want your feedback, your opinions, and your vote on where to take the game next.

We plan to share a transparent Early Access development approach, sharing roadmaps and decisions with you as openly as we can, as soon as we can.”
