State of Alpha

Ashes of Creation is currently in active Alpha testing, which means the game is still deep in development and evolving alongside our community. Many of the systems you will experience - combat, settlements, crafting, caravans, sieges, and more - are works in progress. Some are early prototypes, some are being refined, and others are yet to be fully introduced.

Because of this, players should expect:

• Frequent updates that may reset progress as we implement major changes.

• Bugs, performance issues, missing features, and incomplete content across the world of Verra.

• Active balance adjustments and system reworks based on live player feedback and internal testing.

This stage of development is not just a preview - it’s a partnership with our players.

A COLLABORATIVE DEVELOPMENT PROCESS

We believe MMORPGs are stronger when built with the community, not just for it. During Alpha, we actively engage players through:
