Beyond positioning and synergy, combat is about rhythm. Master the unique Killing Momentum system, where exploiting weaknesses and chaining critical hits builds into unstoppable destructive combos. While rival teams seek to steal your glory, the journey to the Temple is rife with dangerous encounters. As commander, you must make the hard choices, and the outcomes may not always be pleasant.

Will you risk your best warrior to save a stranger? Will you sacrifice innocents to fuel your own strength? Your choices have direct, mechanical consequences: permanent buffs, debilitating injuries, new skills, or sudden death. The better you perform in battle, the better your odds are in the overworld, and vice versa.

Your companions are not mere collections of numbers. Each has their own backstory, agenda, and worldview. Be they noble knights, chaotic fools, bloodthirsty rogues, or haughty wizards, they act on their own interests and won’t hesitate to clash with those they despise.

At camp, when darkness falls, bonds are silently forged. Friendships may unlock powerful co-op abilities, while rivalries can lead to disaster on the road.
