HSNU Academy: 79th Anniversary

This game is a sequel to I Love HSNU (我愛師大附中). This project is an ongoing labor of love, with plans to release new creative works for future school anniversaries.

I. Gameplay Basics

• Movement: Use W, A, S, D to move your character.

• Combat: Use Left Click for melee attacks and Right Click for ranged attacks.

• Skills: Currently, press Spacebar to Dash.

  • Note: More skills will be added in the future (unlockable via player feedback surveys).

II. Phase 1: Mystery & Story (Approx. 1 Hour)

Dive into a narrative-driven puzzle experience.

• Navigation: Press F2 to open the HSNU map and locate event markers.

• Narrative: Visit event locations to uncover the story. Discover who you are and explore your relationships with key characters and the school itself.

• Choices Matter: Make crucial decisions at key event points. Your journey leads to the "Taliwu Monument" (他里霧碑) behind the school gate, where you must determine if you can escape this "Otherworld."

• Multiple Endings: The story features various endings, including some darker narrative paths. Reaching the "Normal/True" ending will unlock Phase 2.

• Pure Puzzle Solving: During Phase 1, defeating monsters yields no experience or equipment. Please focus on solving the mysteries.

III. Phase 2: Free Exploration & RPG

Once you have uncovered the truth and escaped the Otherworld, you return to the "Normal Academy."

• Monster Hunting: Clear out the remaining monsters in the school.

• Progression: In this phase, you can level up and farm for equipment.

• Experience System: XP is gained through combat and by remaining active in the chat room. Your level represents the time you have dedicated to HSNU Academy.

IV. Social Features

Utilize the special Chat Room to connect with others.

• Identity System: Your character will display your Class Number and Name overhead.

• Community: Chat to find old friends, classmates, or share puzzle-solving tips with fellow players.

V. About the Developer

I am a teacher at HSNU (Junior High Division) and currently a graduate student in Digital Media Design at YunTech. I have a passion for game design and have created various interactive projects, including works for the "Bao Gao Zong" event and the Junior High graduation ceremony.

This game is a non-profit personal hobby project. As I am currently working on my thesis, updates may be slow—thank you for your understanding. I look forward to continuing this journey with everyone who loves indie games.
