Why Early Access?

“We are releasing this project in Early Access because it is still evolving, and community participation is essential in shaping its direction. Early Access enables us to gather feedback on usability, interaction patterns, and overall experience, helping us make informed decisions as the application grows. It also allows us to test experimental ideas and determine which features are genuinely meaningful to players before committing them to the full release.

The current version offers an out-of-the-box AI companion experience, allowing players to interact naturally with the N.E.K.O. desktop pet. It also includes an extensible workshop system where users can customize or expand their companion through community-created add-ons. These features form the core foundation of the project and are ready for players to explore.

As development continues, we plan to refine the UI/UX, improve stability, and explore additional interactive capabilities. We are also researching broader device interoperability—such as mobile, tablet, or VR—and potential AI-native multi-user interactions. These directions are under active exploration rather than guaranteed additions, and community feedback will guide which of them become priorities for the full release.”
