Why Early Access?

“The early access option is ideal for this project since the features and content are stackable. The base game is fully functional and, in all honesty, complete for a singular game. However, due to the ease of expansion inherent in the game design, as well as my own personal development interests, the final released version can include an additional arsenal of features. These implementations can come either after release or during "early access" and would function the same way. I'm choosing early access since it allows me to more easily release the game at a lower price point while also conveying to gamers that this is an active work in progress and what the plans are for future additions. It also helps me to orient the narrative and timeline of these implementations”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I plan to have this game in early access until two main features are added. These are currently designed to be:
1) Online Co-op
2) Pure Tower Defense mode
Separate features are likely to be added in parallel with these, as well as new content spanning all game modes.
The timetable for this is probably 3-6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The plans for the full version include online Co-op, a tower defense mode, new characters, items, and weapons, monthly competitions, online leaderboards and possibly other additions that might be suggested by the community during early access.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“As of the early access release, the games main mode is playable with 8 characters, 5 base weapons and turrets, each with numerous upgrade possibilities and unlockables.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, I plan to raise the price gradually in proportion to the quantity and expansiveness of additions implemented leading up to the full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“A wiki and a discord channel are currently being created that will field any criticisms and suggestions. They will also act as sources of information regarding the game.”
