About This Game

Up until now, Stagbluff has not been a city of particular note. A smaller mining town built in the depths of the Great Valley, its community is fairly tight-knit. However, The Magic Circle is looking to shake up that status quo. A glorious tourist attraction, The Magic Circle is a hotel constructed entirely underground which houses several 'Adventure Zones,' areas created to facilitate storybook-like adventures for Guests to explore! The entire experience is run by a state-of-the-art A.I. by the name Campbell, a program designed to give Guests a truly immersive stay. To drum up excitement, The Gatzs (the owners of the hotel), have decided to host a Sneek Peak Event, where various members of the town can get an exclusive early look at the hotel before it opens to the wider public. Janette Ire, lawyer/fixer for the Gatzs, has been tasked with making sure the Sneek Peek Event goes off without a hitch, and for looking out for the twins, Nikky and Kerry Gatz. Unfortunately, things take a turn for the worse when Campbell's code is hacked, and suddenly those underground become hostages to some unknown mastermind. Trapped, unless they decide to take advantage of a very deadly rule...

Converse With Your Fellow Guests!

During The Calm, you can explore The Magic Circle, spending your time in various ways. You can work one of the many jobs, gaining Elixir, a currency within the hotel. You can try to develop your Stats, improving Janette's capability to handle the upcoming Storm. Or, you can grow closer with your fellow Guests trapped underground, raising your Trust, Favor, and Bond through a variety of different actions. As you grow closer, Janette will have the opportunity to develop profiles on these potential allies, potential suspects. The Calm boasts an in-depth time management system which will keep you on your toes attempting to make the most of whatever time you have left.

Solve Fascinating Mysteries!

Eventually, The Storm will come. When that happens, it is up to Janette to make sure that the group can all survive by identifying the killer that now lurks amongst the group. Through the chapters, you will have several investigations in which you can gather evidence, interrogate suspects, and attempt to piece together the truth. You'll need your wits close at hand if you wish to solve the many devious tricks lying behind each and every murder.

Participate In Lively Discussion!

After the investigation, the Guests must gather to uncover the truth behind the death. Janette must work hard to make sure her voice is heard louder than the culprit's. Solve the mystery through a variety of minigames. During fierce Shootouts, the group will all vie to make their opinions known. Sort through the chaos, and disprove any false theories that may arise. Take on more personal duels in Standoffs and Roundups, or take your time to line up the evidence when you Load The Cylinder. Once the truth's laid bare, it's up to you to grant the killer their last rites. With the 10 Paces, every detail of the mystery will be explained, and every one of the culprit's final attacks will be launched. Solving a murder is never easy, but it sure beats execution.

On the surface, Stagbluff's been thrown into disarray by the kidnapping. Pat Peleus isn't content to sit around waiting for answers. Follow his investigation, and unravel the rot that lies at the heart of this town. In this Danganronpa-inspired mystery VN, twists and turns lie around every corner. Juggle your energy and your Elixir during The Calm to improve your stats and unlock Profile Events with the rest of the cast. Then, investigate murders during The Storm, and solve the mystery once the trial begins. 'The Wonderland Killings' offers 30+ hours of content, unlockable post-game content, and even an Infinite Stay mode after the main game which will let you connect with characters at your own pace.
