About This Demo

Blast apart robots with your buddies as each of you controls one limb of a giant mech! Play Microgames on your phones to lock in your attacks! Strategize with your team to launch the ultimate assault!

Stardust Frontier is a roguelike microgaming party game where you and up to three friends each control a limb of a mech, traverse through a unique procedurally generated map, and upgrade your weapons and your rig as you play microgames to power up your attacks! Experience turn-based tactical combat where each part of you and your opponents' rigs choose their own attacks and moves. Coordinate with your party to counteract powerful moves, and work together to learn and destroy your foes.

As you travel through the Frontier, you'll find new equipment, and weaponry, and relics to kit out your mech, encounter strange merchants and unexpected events, and fight all sorts of threatening foes for riches and material. Master the microgames and outperform your teammates to show off your skills, then work with them in times of need to avoid utter destruction! Fight together and claim victory!

Pre-Release

The Stardust Frontier Demo + Friends Pass is your first look at Stardust Frontier pre-release! While we have enough content that we're proud to show it off, there are still a couple of core systems that have not yet been implemented, and the demo is more of a vertical-slice content-wise. We'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback, but please know that not everything that we have planned is present in this demo!

Demo + Friends Pass

In Stardust Frontier, your phones are your controllers! Open the game on a shared screen, and connect on your devices with our free web-app! With the Stardust Frontier Demo + Friends Pass, you can start our Demo experience and try out the game with your friends, or you can use the demo as a secondary screen for a currently-running game, allowing players all across the world to join the same game without requiring screen-sharing!

Note: Neither the Friends Pass nor the full game are required to play Stardust Frontier with your mobile device, it just provides an improved user experience with lower latency when playing over the net compared to screen-sharing.

Highlights

• Tactical Microgame Action - Formulate a plan based on your opponent's intents, and use your microgame skills to power your actions! But be careful—Not all foes will wait for you to blast them into orbit! Enemies can dispatch unique reactive intents that change depending on your actions!

• Positions and Classes - Each player controls a unique character who is responsible for one part of the mech! Combine your unique skills to save yourselves from destruction, and augment and replace your mech parts until you're rocking an incomprehensible amalgam of machinery!

• In-Person or over the Net - Stardust Frontier works great whether you're all crowded on a single couch, or spread halfway across the world. Any number of host monitors can connect to a single game, so you don't even need to stream your computer screen!
