T-80U-E1坦克（219AS-1工程）采用T-80UD的炮塔，作为T-80BV坦克的现代化变体开发而成。原型在2002~2003年间经过了测试，并且在2003年基于这些测试的结果批准了连续生产。这款型号的一项显著特征就是第二代“普利萨”热像仪，采用来自Thales的法国矩阵。

T-80U-E1配备1250马力的发动机，因而最大速度可达70千米/时，最大倒速可达12千米/时。强大的125毫米2A46M-1加农炮搭配7.62毫米机枪为其提供火力输出，炮塔顶部还装备了12.7毫米的防空机枪。弹药包括尾翼稳定破甲弹、高爆破片弹和尾翼稳定脱壳穿甲弹，还可发射反坦克制导导弹。另外，T-80U-E1还为炮手配备了发动机烟幕系统、烟雾弹发射器、激光测距仪和热像仪。

The unique vehicle camouflages in these packs are fictional and if the “Show content in the battle: Except fictional” option is enabled in the “Customization of Vehicles” settings, these will appear to other players as historical camouflages for similar vehicles, but with the characteristic exterior customization elements preserved.
