The Expedition

Nine years ago, you, Raythen, along with Titus, were dispatched to the farthest reaches to seek a cure for the plague. You succeeded in securing the intelligence and the ancient manuscripts, but your return comes six years too late. Does your home, Sanctum, still stand? Has this great empire, built upon advanced soul technology, survived long enough to see your return?

The Vigil

Play as Gideon within the surviving walls of Sanctum. Bear witness to the fate of every character and unearth the untold history of the city.

As the King's Deputy, Gideon struggles alongside others to halt this extinction. As you play Sanctum's final cards and unravel the secrets behind the empire's immense power, you will witness the tragic, unavoidable destinies that befall those around you.

Combat Mechanics

No one is born a swordmaster; technique is as vital as the weapon itself. The Coda's unique combat mechanics allow you to wield your blade with total freedom. Observe the direction of incoming attacks to execute precise parries, or exploit your enemy's exposed openings to unleash devastating combos. Mastery of the blade is your only path to victory against formidable foes.

World & Progression

Explore an interconnected, semi-open world. Unlock new routes via the Central Station to traverse distinct regions, each featuring unique landscapes, architecture, and enemies. From the scattered, weak Remnants in the outer ruins to the mighty guardians within the Royal Palace, you must tread carefully, assess the dangers ahead, and choose your path wisely.

Enemies & Strategy

Combat is not merely a test of skill, but a challenge of strategy. You will face not only powerful individuals but also coordinated enemy squads. Analyze their patterns, intent, and weaknesses, choosing between aggressive onslaughts and calculated defense. When facing organized foes, you must decide: do you focus your attacks to create a breach, or prioritize eliminating their leader? Your mastery of swordplay is the key to shattering their defenses and claiming victory.
