Perspectre is a perspective-switching Metroidvania where you'll explore a perilous realm in sidescroller, top-down, and 3D, engage in combat with dangerous enemies, and seek out new abilities and upgrades that will change the way you play. Push forward, hack your way through, and re-write the rules!

EXPLORE A VAST REALM FROM MULTIPLE PERSPECTIVES

Switch seamlessly between 2D side-scroller, top-down perspective, and 3D third-person exploration. Each perspective offers a unique point-of-view that can drastically change how you explore, use your abilities, battle enemies, and solve puzzles. You'll find and fight your way through over a dozen different biomes that change based on how you view them!

BATTLE DANGEROUS ENEMIES

As you explore the realm you'll encounter a wide variety of enemies, the outcome of each battle depending heavily on how you approach it. Every enemy, from a mere Thistlethrall to the heavily armoured Cragdrill, poses a significant threat, and you'll need to use every perspective and ability at your disposal to make it through. Chain your attacks across multiple perspectives, block and parry, and evade damage using complex and satisfying movement mechanics!

Discover and unlock powerful new abilities to aid you in both traversal and combat! Each new ability varies depending on which perspective you deploy it in, opening up more of the world to explore, more puzzles to solve, and more ways to fight.

IMMERSE YOURSELF IN THE RICH LORE OF PERSPECTRE

You'll play as Groundskeeper Gus, the hero of an iconic video game trilogy, as he finds himself trapped in a mysterious meta mish-mash of his three platformer games. Echo, a mysterious floating orb, claims he helped create the world you're in. Your origin story a faint and fleeting memory, you must push forward with Echo at your side and find a way to rewrite the narrative, but a mysterious new villain stands in your way...
