About This Demo

This is a demo for Exile Protocol, a heart-pounding sci-fi first-person shooter that thrusts you and your friends into the depths of procedurally generated bunkers teeming with nightmarish creatures. In this brutal world, survival is the only goal, and every decision could mean the difference between life and permanent death.

We want to build this game around the community, which is why we included a separate page for the demo. We will be reading through all the reviews/comments and making major adjustments to the game for Early Access based on the demo.

What's included in the Demo:

• 1-4 Player CO-OP: Play by yourself or with up to 3 additional friends. Monsters scale based on how many players you have.

• First 3 Floors: Explore the first 3 floors of the game (out of 10 expected for Early Access). The demo only contains a fraction of the monsters we have in store for Early Access.

• 50+ Items: We have included 50+ items in the demo build, including multiple guns, scopes, suppressors, laser sights, consumables, etc. (300+ items expected for Early Access)

• High Tension Atmosphere: Immerse yourself in a haunting soundscape and visual design that keeps your adrenaline pumping as you creep through the dark.

• Procedurally Generated Floors: Each expedition offers a fresh experience, with layouts, loot, and monster placements changing every time you enter.

• Perma-Death Mechanics: Once you die, that character is gone forever. However, we have included a "Clutch-up" mechanic where when playing with friends, only one person needs to extract successfully to ensure the survival of the whole squad.

• Customize your Loadout: Equip a combination of different guns, scopes, magazines, suppressors and laser sights.

• Proximity Voice Chat: Player voices will be altered to match the environment (Reverb added to make players sound like they are inside a bunker). 

• Screen-Altering Effects: Poison / Toxic screen effects. These effects can also alter sounds.

Online Co-op: Play solo, or team up with friends to strategize and tackle challenges together, enhancing your chances of survival and making every run an unforgettable adventure. Fully immerse yourself with proximity voice chat. Proximity voice alters your voice depending on your environment (adds reverb when in bunkers).

With friends by your side, you’ll balance risk and reward. Do you sneak past a lurking monster to secure a rare weapon, or do you engage in a firefight, knowing that the noise could attract even more deadly foes? The loot you gather will be vital not only for your immediate survival but also for enhancing your team’s abilities and gear for future runs.

Varied Monsters: Encounter a diverse array of horrifying creatures, each with unique strengths and weaknesses. Some creatures are adept at detecting sound, while others are drawn to light or have acute vision. Communicate effectively to adapt your tactics and outsmart these beasts. Learn their behaviors to survive and loot effectively.

Dynamic Loot System: Collect a wide range of weapons, gear, and resources to enhance your characters and increase your chances of extraction. Each piece of gear contains different stats to help your style of gameplay. Stats include health, stamina, stealth (noise suppression), accuracy, stability. 

Objective: Your mission is clear: explore the eerie depths of the bunkers, collect valuable loot, and extract safely—all while working as a team. But tread carefully—every shadow could conceal a predator, and every sound could be your last.

Are you and your friends ready to face the horrors of Exile Protocol? The bunkers are waiting, and the monsters are hungry. Will you emerge victorious, or will you become just another name on the list of the lost? The choice is yours.
