SHORT DESCRIPTION

Build companies, factories, fleets, and fortunes in a living global economy. Design products, move real goods, shape markets, and grow from a first foothold into a worldwide business empire.

START FROM NOTHING

Economika is a single-player business and economic simulation about turning a small advantage into a company that matters.

Begin with a product idea, a factory plan, a truck route, a property purchase, or a few million in starting capital. Then decide what kind of business you want to build.

You can focus on one brilliant product and defend its niche. Build a logistics company that keeps other businesses moving. Make food, chemicals, machinery, electronics, semiconductors, vehicles, or consumer goods. Buy property, develop buildings, operate stores, finance expansion, or combine several industries into one integrated group.

For players who love classic business simulations, Economika is built around the part that matters most: understanding how a business really works. This is not a game about watching a number go up. It is about building the systems that make the number go up, then figuring out what to do when those systems are under pressure.

ESTABLISH YOUR FOOTHOLD

Choose your company, starting city, industry, and first opportunity. The global map is more than a backdrop. It is where your decisions become real. Cities, buildings, industrial sites, ports, airports, rail corridors, roads, and commercial districts create the geography of opportunity.

A good location can shorten a supply line, unlock better talent, put you closer to demand, or give a new factory room to grow. A bad location can turn a profitable idea into a costly logistics problem. Scout the world, inspect properties, compare regions, and place operations where the economics make sense.

You control the pace. Pause time, advance by days or weeks, watch a new operation come online, and step in when something important changes.

BUILD A BUSINESS EMPIRE

Take a product from idea to market. Choose what to make, how to position it, how much to produce, and where to sell it. Source raw materials, set up storage, establish reliable deliveries, build a factory, configure production lines, and make sure the product can reach customers.

Factories are practical systems, not decorative buildings. Plan a site, assign the right operating modules, manage materials, set output targets, balance quality against throughput, and expand when the market pulls harder than your current capacity. When a line stops, trace the problem. Is the input missing? Is the warehouse in the wrong place? Is the route overloaded? Did demand move?

Control raw materials and refining chains too. Extract resources, refine them into useful inputs, and connect intermediate products to the factories that need them. The best industrial companies are not just producing more. They are reducing waste, securing supply, and knowing exactly where value is created.

Build offices and research teams to develop better products, stronger brands, and more capable operations. Shape the work inside your buildings with modular floorplans that let you decide where departments, labs, production areas, storage, and support functions belong. Keep the layout focused and efficient, then improve it as your company changes.

The product world is broad by design. Build everyday consumer products, food and agricultural goods, industrial equipment, chemicals, materials, electronics, and advanced semiconductor products. Design CPUs, memory, GPUs, integrated circuits, embedded processors, and sensors. Choose a process node, manufacturing process, power target, clock speed, packaging, and production strategy. Turn engineering decisions into a product that has to survive real market pressure.

COMPETE FOR MARKET SHARE

The economy is always moving. Prices change. Demand shifts. Competitors expand. A shortage raises costs in one place and creates an opportunity somewhere else. A new product can open a market, but it can also invite stronger companies to respond.

Study companies, products, prices, demand, production capacity, commodities, property markets, stocks, bonds, currencies, and industrial conditions. Use reports, dashboards, market views, data browsers, route displays, and operating summaries to see what is happening beneath the surface.

Choose how much information you want. You can make a fast decision from the headline numbers, or drill down through the company, facility, route, inventory, and market data until you understand the full chain. The game gives you enough information to investigate problems, not just enough to guess at them.

Build a brand customers remember. Win contracts. Enter a new region. Improve your product. Lower costs. Move upmarket. Defend a niche. Or flood a market with reliable, affordable output and force everyone else to react.

MOVE THE WORLD

Run logistics across trucking, rail, intermodal ground networks, sea freight, and air connections. Design routes, connect facilities, buy new and used fleet assets, and build a network that can grow with your business.

Every route has a job. It needs the right origin, destination, vehicles, capacity, timing, storage, and cargo. Watch goods move through the network, see where a bottleneck is forming, and decide whether to add vehicles, change the route, build another hub, or rethink the operation.

Manage the fleet itself. Browse new and used trucks, rail assets, ships, aircraft, and other transport equipment. Compare cost, capacity, range, age, condition, and operating role. Keep assets productive, replace them when the economics change, and build a transport company that other businesses depend on.

EXPAND YOUR EMPIRE

Growth brings new choices. Finance a new site with loans. Buy land or an existing building. Expand a warehouse. Open a new office. Acquire a competitor. Underwrite assets and manage risk. Enter financial markets. Invest in technology. Build integrated operations that turn a supply chain into a competitive advantage.

A company can stay focused, or it can become a network of connected businesses. A materials company can feed a factory. A logistics division can support a retail brand. A property portfolio can provide the sites that make expansion possible. A research program can turn a component supplier into a technology leader.

There is no single correct empire. You can build a lean specialist, a regional champion, a global carrier, a real estate group, a consumer brand house, a semiconductor powerhouse, or a diversified corporation active across the economy.
