“Dark Star will contain both Skirmish and Challenge modes on Early Access release, for players to test the main combat mechanics. Early Access will allow me to expand these systems into a roguelite campaign.”

About This Game

Tactical Control

Command your fleet of spacecraft as you move and maneuver in 3D space. Plan out your orders with unlimited tactical pause, then watch as they're executed in real-time. Manage your fleet from the flagship's bridge between battles, upgrading and outfitting your ships to build the ultimate battle group.

Avenge Earth

An all-powerful being lives in the centre of the galaxy. Each time it emerges the course of history is altered forever. And this time, it has destroyed Earth. Explore and fight across a procedurally generated galaxy. Outfit, upgrade and expand your fleet. Find the Dark Star and avenge Earth!

Roguelite Progression

Death is not the end - learn from your mistakes and try again with new knowledge. Every civilization calls the Dark Star by a different name, and only by learning them all can you understand its true nature. Unlock new codex entries for powerful bonuses and new dialogue options.

Play Your Way

Enjoy Dark Star on PC or VR; with mouse and keyboard, or with controller.
