Skyward is a mishmash of Minecraft and Nethack. I decided to take the visual style and world of Minecraft, and mash it with the elegant simplicity of Nethack.

Your goal is to strengthen the Lodestone, by forging it with Magnetite. Harvesting it is tough work, however. You must venture across the Endless Sky, find other Islands, and... steal their cores.

Islands are unstable pieces of mass held together by their Magnetite cores. You may either harvest an island's core, or lock it in place by building Beacons. Some Islands contain bountiful resources, some contain brutal challenges.

Can guard the Endless Sky? You're the Skywarden.

Guide

1. Find your Nexus at the center of the island.
2. It needs 25 energy. You can wait for it to replenish itself, or feed it Stars (you have to catch them first).
3. Visit the islands it finds.
4. Keep or raid the islands for magnetite and stars.
5. Use magnetite to upgrade your Nexus.
6. Explore the sky and bring its bounty in your domain.
