Varför Early Access?

“We have established the core foundation and vision for Linkies, but we want to shape the rest of the game alongside our community. Early Access is the best way for us to integrate player feedback directly into the development process—specifically regarding puzzle difficulty, new mechanics, and overall game flow. Our goal isn't just to squash bugs, but to let the community's input actively drive the design and content of the remaining 3 themes.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We estimate that Linkies will be in Early Access for approximately 6 to 8 months. This timeframe will allow us to develop the remaining 3 planned themes, introduce new puzzle mechanics, and properly implement the feedback we receive from the community.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“The Early Access version features 2 core themes. The full version is planned to include a total of 5 distinct themes. With each new theme, we aim to introduce brand-new mechanics and obstacles that enrich the puzzles. Additionally, for the full release, we plan to implement Steam Achievements, Cloud Saves, and highly requested community features.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“In the current Early Access version, players have access to 2 fully playable themes featuring our core puzzle mechanics revolving around cats and carpets. Players can play through dozens of levels across these themes. The core gameplay loop, art style, and atmosphere are fully realized, but the current content represents only a portion of our final vision.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“There is no definitive plan to increase the price yet, but we might moderately raise it upon final release depending on the amount of content and features added during the Early Access period.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“We will be highly active on the Steam Community Hub and our Discord server. As we design the new themes, we will analyze which types of puzzles players enjoy the most and discuss new mechanic ideas with them, letting their feedback guide our development.”
