About This Demo

This demo contains two entire episodes for free - EPISODE 1: Reappearance of the Rogue Detective & Inheritance of the Persistent Reporter and EPISODE ZERO: Disappearance of the Rogue Detective & Dawn of the Red Dream. These episodes serve as an early glimpse at the game’s wider world and grand mystery. 

The demo features a saving & loading system to allow you to progress at your own pace, and full controller support if you'd rather not use a keyboard and mouse. A controller diagram can be found in the options menu. This game does feature some flashing effects - they can be disabled in the options.

We have worked hard on this demo, but please bear in mind this is an early demo build, meaning it may contain various issues or bugs and therefore not perfectly represent the final game. If you should come across any such issues whilst playing, please report these to us using our dedicated issue reporting form which can be found via our social media.

NB: An optional Vulkan-enabled build of the game can be used by those with hardware that supports the Vulkan API, for minor improvements in graphical fidelity (in particular, anti-aliasing of certain textures). You can opt into this in the properties of the game in your Steam library, under the section "Game Versions & Betas".
