Early Access allows us to make Andromeda usable early while integrating community feedback directly into development. This approach ensures that real-world usage shapes future improvements without making unrealistic promises.”

Approximately how long will this software be in Early Access?

“SmarterWaysProductions: Andromeda will remain in Early Access as long as core features are being developed and optimized. Since development is driven by a small, independent team (one main developer, one partner), the focus is on quality and stability rather than speed.

Progress is based on technical feasibility and user feedback. While we do not want to commit to a fixed date, we roughly estimate the Early Access duration to take approximately 12 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version of SmarterWaysProductions: Andromeda to build upon the current scope of the Early Access version. Our goal is to expand the software in the following areas:

Targeted Improvements:

-Expanded PC Control: We are working on features such as launching programs, file management, and internet research via voice.

-Hands-Free Mode: We plan to implement a customizable wake word for hands-free operation.

-Enhanced Voice Interaction: We aim for even more natural responses and fluid conversations.

-Modular Extensions: We intend to provide optional packages (e.g., for Office or Development).

-Optimized UI & Performance: Focus on improved navigation and resource efficiency.

Unchanged Focus:

-Data Sovereignty: Our core principle remains that you retain full control over your data and connections.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current Early Access version of SmarterWaysProductions: Andromeda provides a locally running AI assistant with the following features:

-Text-based chat

-Speech-to-text input

-Text-to-speech output

-Fully local processing

-Chat and context management

-Assistance with analysis, planning, and idea generation

-Download and use of local AI models

-Strong focus on privacy and full data ownership


The following features are not currently included:

-Internet access

-Automated PC control

-Modular feature packages

-Wake word or continuous live mode

These features are planned or in development but are not part of the current release.”

Will this software be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We reserve the right to increase the price of SmarterWaysProductions: Andromeda after the Early Access phase. The current discounted price is intended to facilitate broad access for the community, whose feedback during this phase is instrumental in optimizing the software and resolving bugs.

Additional features and specialized modules may be offered as optional paid content in the future.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community plays a central role in the further development of SmarterWaysProductions: Andromeda.

Feedback, suggestions, and discussions mainly take place via our Discord server and the Steam Community Forum. Additionally, feedback from the usage of the Early Access version is collected and evaluated.

Development decisions are based on:
