Players take on the role of a superhuman named Heix, awakening in a base on the verge of collapse. The facility has been devastated, and everything must be rebuilt from scratch. To escape, the player must join forces with NPC companions to eliminate out-of-control creatures, gather energy and resources, upgrade facilities, research technology, gradually restore the base's functions, and ultimately reopen the passage to the outside world.

This was humanity's Golden Age. Within the reach of its dominion, all alien civilizations were bludgeoned into submission by its relentless war machine. The United Empire of Earth (UEE) forged itself into a stellar superpower, ruling dozens of star systems.

After awakening on Archron, you see past the facade of the Empire's prosperity to the new crisis festering in the shadows. And though you are a gene-edited superhuman, the Empire does not see you as an equal.

Confronting a crisis that threatens countless human lives, alien civilizations being slaughtered by the Empire, destitute refugees, a burgeoning rebellion, and your own ostracized kind—every choice you make will alter the very course of history.
