What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We want to involve players early so their feedback can shape the future of Treasures of the Maipo: Chronicles of the Maipo. The game already has solid core systems—farming, exploration, combat, crafting, and a fully playable demo section—but its world, story, and dungeons will continue to grow. Early Access lets us improve controls, balance, progression, and overall feel while working together with the community.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to remain in Early Access for several months, depending on player feedback and the pace of content development. Our focus is on releasing updates that feel meaningful and polished rather than meeting a strict date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan for the full version to include:

Additional story chapters and narrative progression.

New temples, mines, puzzles, and environments.

More farming systems, animals, tools, and crafting recipes.

Expanded enemy variety and relic abilities.

Improvements to performance, UI, combat, and accessibility.

Polished visuals, dialogue, and final audio.

The Early Access version focuses on the foundation; the full release aims to deliver the complete adventure set in the Maipo valley.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes a playable demo showcasing:

A small tutorial area

Basic farming and gathering

Tool use and equipment

A short combat encounter

A small story introduction

An early relic

Keyboard/mouse and controller support”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

““The price will remain the same during Early Access, and may increase for the final release.””

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to gather feedback through Steam discussions, community posts, and direct player suggestions. Players can report bugs, propose improvements, and help shape balance and content direction. We want the development to be collaborative, transparent, and strongly influenced by those who enjoy the game.”

About This Game

Chile. Cajón del Maipo.

An ancient curse lingers in a remote mountain valley.

After receiving a mysterious letter, you inherit your grandfather’s abandoned farm and discover a land suspended between sacred forces and decay.

Restore the farm. Reconnect the community. Explore hidden temples and corrupted mines. Confront the restless dead.

But time moves forward.

As the seasons pass and winter arrives, a cycle ends. The valley endures. Your progress remains. Yet the sacred relics return to their temples — and the curse grows stronger.

Each new cycle challenges you to reclaim lost power, optimize your farm, and prepare for escalating danger.

Balance growth and survival. Invest in the land. Master spiritual relics. Face the Traitor who unleashed the curse.
