About This Game

FedChairSim is a satirical economics simulator which puts YOU in control of a central bank. Will you make it to the end of your term with reputation in-tact? Or be forced to flee the country in disgrace?

You’ll navigate numerous scenarios and policy proposals, all while receiving contradictory advice from your two advisors: The idealistic young Josh and the jaded bitter old Reginald.

Key Features:

  • Dynamic Economy: See the impact of your rate decisions in real time as GDP, inflation, unemployment and productivity rise and fall.

  • Topical Scenarios: Navigate a global pandemic, presidential corruption, AI breakthroughs and more!

  • Policy Decisions: In addition to raising and lowering rates you’ll also get the opportunity change the target inflation range, rig the CPI and cook the unemployment numbers!

  • Contradictory Advice: Your opinionated advisors offer contradictory advice based on their different worldviews. Who will you trust?

  • Multiple Endings: Will you make it to the end of your term and land a cushy job at a think tank? Or be forced to flee the country in disgrace?

  • Media Satire: Watch the news headlines as the media reacts to your decisions and the in-game scenarios.
