The story follows Lin Chengdong, who as a child signed a mysterious pact with the City God. Bound by this contract, he is fated to die at the age of twenty and to serve under the deity’s command. Yet in his final year of life, Alice—the acting City God—appears before him, inviting him on a journey to uncover the hidden truth behind his fate.

Your choices across vast branching storylines will decide not only Lin Chengdong’s life or death, but also the rise and fall of the city under the City God’s protection—and how much of a century-old tale of spirits you can uncover.
