D.R.I.F.T. ( Deep Range Independent Freight and Trade )  is an open-world space simulator where you take on the role of an independent pilot navigating a fractured galaxy shaped by political tensions, unstable economies, and factions constantly vying for power. You’re not a chosen hero or the commander of a massive fleet—you’re a freelancer with a ship and the will to survive, trading, exploring, and taking contracts that might secure your future among the stars.

In this universe, there is no predefined path. Every mission, every negotiation, and every jump adds to your personal story. The focus is not on following a fixed narrative, but on how you manage your resources, choose your alliances, and face the risks of deep space.

Core Gameplay

• Contracts and jobs: transport cargo, assist stranded spaceships, take on mining asteroids or just free trade among the stars. Each contract or freelance job comes with risks, rewards, and consequences for your reputation.

• Dynamic trade system: buy and sell goods across planets and stations, analyze shifting markets, and discover profitable routes—or take on riskier jobs for higher pay.

• Exploration: travel across interconnected star systems through jumpgates, discover new locations, and deal with the uncertainty of the unknown.

• Ship and resource management: your ship is your lifeline. Balance energy, CPU, modules, and fuel to stay operational. A poor decision can leave you stranded.

• Factions and reputation: your actions shape how others perceive you. Access to stations, special contracts, and even certain jumpgates depends on your standing with the factions that control the galaxy.

• Constant risk: space is unforgiving. A failed delivery, a miscalculated jump, or a hostile faction encounter can alter the course of your run.
