About This Game

RTG, a game with cryptic name ("ray-traced game", "radioisotope thermoelectric generator"), is narrative sci-fi puzzle/platformer telling a story of a guy with no memories, trapped inside strange world, with no clues how he got there and what's going on.

Dive into the world, where initially nothing makes sense. Solve gradually more challenging puzzles and unravel game's mystery, piece by piece, by accessing terminals scattered through the game.

Core gameplay of RTG is puzzling, but there's also a touch of arcading, all of that intertwined with sci-fi story. The game starts very lightly, puzzle mechanics are added gradually, which later culminates in levels challenging even skilled puzzle players.

RTG is using unusual rendering method: CPU based ray-tracing. There's no special GPU required to run the game, everything is computed on CPU. Because of that, game has distinctive low-poly/low-res retro look combined with modern features like natural shadow-casting (all objects vs all-lights), reflections or full per-pixel shading.
