Months have passed since Nina & Dylan helped the Valiant Valkyries in their struggle, and as fall comes to an end, Fledge City shivers in the icy grip of a record-breaking winter.

Yet when a military operation from the Great Northern War goes awry, Aquila Defense & Law is forced to provide sanctuary for a wayward soldier, one who, it transpires, needs a lawyer - fast.

The war does not go well. The blizzard has brought a break in the stalemate, turning Fledge City itself into the next battleground. With forces on each side arming themselves for bear, the city shudders under the boom of cannon-fire and missile blast, as its streets become a flashpoint that could consume the entire world!

As the situation deteriorates, Nina finds herself caught between both sides of the conflict, and before she knows it, she's fighting shoulder-to-shoulder with heroes who stride across the battlefield in mighty, towering robots.
