Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport is Australia's largest and busiest airport, serving as a major hub for both domestic and international travel. The airport has three runways. The longest is 16R/34L at 3,962 meters, and there are two shorter runways, 16L/34R and 07/25.

Sydney Airport operates under a curfew between 11 PM and 6 AM, which restricts flight movements to help mitigate noise for nearby residents.
