What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows me to shape the game together with the community. The core systems are already in place, but I want to refine them with real player feedback - balancing, pacing, and new ideas that only emerge once people start playing.

Your experience and suggestions will directly influence upcoming updates, new mechanics, and the final direction of the game. Early Access isn’t just a test phase; it’s an opportunity to build something meaningful together.

By joining early, you’ll help shape the foundation, report bugs, and take part in the evolution of the game - from a growing prototype to a complete experience.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The plan is to stay in Early Access for about 6 to 12 months.
This timeframe gives enough room to gather community feedback, polish existing systems, and expand the content at a steady and sustainable pace.

Of course, development is flexible - if new features or ideas from players fit naturally into the vision, the Early Access period may be slightly extended to make sure the full release feels complete and balanced.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand on everything that defines the core experience - more content, more variety, and deeper progression.

During Early Access, the focus will be on fine-tuning the core systems and balancing feedback from players. Over time, new features, events, and mechanics will be introduced to make each playthrough feel more dynamic and rewarding.

The goal isn’t to change the identity of the game, but to grow it naturally - adding new layers of depth, challenge, and replay value based on what the community enjoys most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already includes the core gameplay loop and all fundamental systems needed to experience the game from start to finish.
You can play, progress, and explore the main mechanics as intended - with stable performance and regular updates planned.

While most features are functional, some systems are still in active development and will continue to evolve throughout Early Access.
Expect balance adjustments, new content, and quality-of-life improvements as the community helps refine the experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes - the price is expected to increase gradually as new content, systems, and features are added throughout development.

Early supporters will receive the full version at no additional cost, and joining during Early Access helps support ongoing development while the game continues to grow and improve.

The goal is to keep the game fairly priced during its entire lifecycle, reflecting the value of the content available at each stage.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback plays a key role in shaping the game throughout Early Access.
Players can share ideas, report bugs, and discuss balance or feature suggestions directly through the Steam Community Hub or the official Discord server.

Regular update posts will highlight new features, community-driven changes, and development insights - ensuring that everyone who takes part in Early Access helps influence the direction of the final game.

Your feedback truly matters, and every suggestion helps make the experience stronger for everyone.”

About This Game

A minimalist Roguelike × Idle: click a tile to mine a resource - while your lifeline constantly drains. Food keeps you alive, materials fuel your research. Each month the drain accelerates. At the end of every year you choose 1 of 3 milestone cards and spend your Research Points in a year-end shop to reshape your run. How long can you keep the line from going flat?

Features

  • Risk–reward mining: Pick tiles to auto-harvest food and materials while HP ticks away.

  • Vital pressure: The drain speeds up after each month - time itself is the enemy.

  • Year-end milestone cards: Draw 3, keep 1. Big, run-defining effects - no monthly cards.

  • Year-end research shop: Spend Research Points + resources on powerful, run-long upgrades.

  • Clean 2D style: Fast, readable, and focused - perfect for “just one more year.”

Why BLEEDOUT?

There are no traditional enemies - your lifeline is the antagonist. Every click is a trade-off: stabilize now or invest for later? Year-end cards and the research shop create bold builds and fresh runs without mid-run micromanagement of card drafts.
