The North is calling. You awaken in a world of snow-capped mountains, dark forests, and roaring seas — a land where survival is earned, not given. Frostborn is a stylized Viking survival game that combines handcrafted exploration with deep crafting, modular village-building, and the brutal beauty of the frozen wilderness.

Forge your saga alone or with allies, carve out a settlement in the wilds, and uncover forgotten legends hidden beneath the frost.

🌲 Survive the Frozen North

The land is harsh, and nature shows no mercy. You’ll need to manage your health, hunger, and stamina to stay alive while wolves stalk the shadows and bitter winds cut through the trees. Hunt, gather, and craft tools to keep yourself one step ahead of the wilderness.

• Hunt deer, boar, and wolves for meat, fur, and bone.

• Forage for herbs and resources to craft potions and supplies.

• Brave hostile weather and freezing nights with warm shelters and campfires.

• Learn to ration food, manage wounds, and withstand the cold.

⚒ Build and Expand Your Viking Settlement

Claim the wilds and turn them into your home. Starting with a simple camp, you’ll eventually construct sprawling Viking villages with defenses, crafting stations, and thriving communities.

• Settlement Marker System – establish a territory where your people can live and grow.

• Modular Building – place walls, roofs, floors, and decorative pieces to create longhouses, watchtowers, and more.

• Crafting Stations – unlock advanced tools with forges, looms, tanneries, and brewing tables.

• NPC Villagers – recruit allies to gather, craft, defend, and expand your settlement.

⚔ Fight, Hunt, and Conquer

The North is filled with danger — from wild beasts to rival clans and mythical creatures. Combat is brutal yet rewarding, requiring timing, resourcefulness, and the right equipment.

Unlike fully procedural maps, Frostborn offers a carefully hand-designed world filled with landmarks, biomes, and secrets waiting to be uncovered.

• Biomes: plains, rivers, pine forests, snowy mountains, and hidden caves.

• Landmarks: villages, ruins, shrines, and strongholds.

• Seamless Chunk Loading: only nearby areas load in, keeping performance smooth even in massive environments.

• Dynamic Wildlife: from herds of deer to packs of wolves, each biome feels alive.

The frozen land doesn’t end at the shoreline. Build and sail Viking longships across treacherous waters, discovering distant islands and trading routes.

• Row or sail longships, adjusting to wind and waves.

Frostborn is being developed as a long-term Early Access title. We’re building this world with our community, adding features, polishing systems, and expanding the saga as players explore and share feedback.
