Jacarandá, a place of fiery arguments and clashing views on what truly constitutes Progress, begins to fray at the seams. Embody Clara as she figures out what to do after graduation, how to reconnect with her best friend, and deal with her newfound elemental powers. Only by disentangling the knots in her own life can she help to unravel those of her kindred spirits, and her home of Jacarandá.

Dive into inner worlds shaped by people's minds and personalities, and explore Clara's own multi-faceted identity through rich dialogue and active conversation encounters, giving narrative and strategic depth to the story’s personal and emotional stakes. Immerse yourself in a magical Solarpunk setting of self-sustaining but interconnected commonships, and the people responsible for making it work – or fall apart.

Inspired by classic and modern JRPGs, active conversation encounters have you strategically Talk, Listen and Think using a variety of elements to reach an understanding with your partner before you run out of stamina. But it takes two to have a conversation, and reaching an understanding doesn't mean defeating your partner! They have their own abilities, patterns and stamina you'll need to consider and coordinate with, in order to succeed as a team.

Do you stay safe by Contemplating your options while Establishing your boundaries and defences? Or do you risk yourself to heal your partner by Empathising, only to turn a tough situation around by Expressing your feelings when your back is to the wall? Equip abilities which speak to you, then act and react to balance the shifting needs of each conversation.

Outside of encounters, use your elemental powers to create new choices, change the conversation’s tone or object to statements. Replay scenes to find hidden corners, unlocking rewards and Reflections which give more glimpses into Clara, her friends and the world.

There's plenty for Clara to do when not charting her own path and diving heart-first into people's inner worlds. Craft new abilities to suit your playstyle, share Reflections to help your friends fulfil their personal quests, and help Clara's neighbourhood by undertaking Local Shifts – optional friendly encounters which flesh out Jacarandá and its people.

The stakes are personal – Clara wants to make the world a better place, but she’s torn in multiple directions by her love of learning and experiencing new things, and there are no simple answers. Help her take control of her narrative as she uses elemental powers to learn more about herself, her relationships, and how she can become part of a larger tapestry. Even in a well-meaning interconnected society, she may be the one to spot a loose thread before it unravels Jacarandá's peace and tolerance.

Rebuild and grow Clara's connections with the people closest to her, strengthening romantic bonds, mending fraying friendships and renewing family ties. Each character has their own abilities and patterns which change as their own stories evolve, allowing them to tackle more difficult and personal challenges as the game progresses. Nurture your relationships with allies, as many problems cannot be solved by one person alone, whether they have elemental powers or not.
