Varför Early Access?

“The story of To Be Altered is already planned through, but as voice acting is one of the most expensive aspects for this game, it can make development slower.
By putting this game in early access, it will support the continuation of development by funding for these features for the future planned acts. Rest assured, the game will still be planned to continue developing with or without extra support and it should only affect the speed of a full release.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“Until all acts are complete--it's difficult to get an estimate time, but Act 1 has taken me approximately 1.5 years to develop from the ground up.
Taking that into consideration, each act may take around a year or a year and a half to create: the most realistic estimate time would be 2-3 more years, but I plan to release each act when they're ready rather than dropping it all at once.”

Hur är det tänkt att den fullständiga versionen ska skilja sig från versionen i Early Access?

“For the full version, I plan to create at least three acts in total, with more mini-games/interactives throughout the story, a more diverse soundtrack, more art (including in ACT 1), completionist achievements, plenty of extra branches, more localisations, and all while being fully voice-acted. I do not plan for different localisations to have different voices, the english voices will remain the same while the rest of the game is translated.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The game is polished and playable with very little bugs. It includes ~2 hours of gameplay, 10 achievements to collect, multiple choice branches, voice acted dialogue and a minigame. If it weren't part of a bigger story, it would seem like a finished game.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“The price will gradually increase as more acts are added. ”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“Updates and announcements will be posted on the twitter/x and bluesky account, and throughout development (if there is some demand) I will occasionally do Q&A's with the community.”
